Just heard from our adoption agent...literally just seconds ago. They have received all of our paperwork and we are officially in the special needs program.Today is a good day!!!

FRom what I can tell every 4-7 weeks. Then it's just if there is a child on there for us, that meets our criteria. That sounds weird but being in the special needs program each family fills out a sheet with the criteria they are willing to accept for a special needs child.
I have this feeling that Avery is close...and no matter which child we choose, she was really chosen for us to be a part of our family.
So now it's continually checking emails, and waiting for the next list to come out. I need to do a little more research on when the last list came out, so I can guesstimate it.
But I'm walking around the house today with a smile on my face. This was such a HUGE step in the right direction, and we did it, and we did it fast considering everything we had to get done and we're here-FINALLY!!

I am checking emails constantly, and gonna do some research to see if I can tell when the next list to maybe going to come out.
We are on pins and needles, and it's great!!
